About us
USA Prime Royals, home of Milwood Royals Travel Baseball, is a proud organization rooted in Kalamazoo's Milwood neighborhood, founded by dedicated Milwood parents who recognized the need for higher-level competition while staying true to our values of player development and relationship-building.
Our travel program is built on the core values of teamwork, dedication, and sportsmanship. Our mission is to help young athletes grow on and off the field through high-quality training and meaningful experiences, building skills, lasting friendships, and lifelong memories.
We are committed to making travel baseball affordable: $750 total, in three payments of $250, covers two full uniforms, a practice jersey, batting gloves, team bag, hat, cage jacket, winter indoor training, and 6-8 tournaments within 150 miles of Kalamazoo. Training-only options are also available.

Our Story
The Royals were created by Milwood families committed to strong community ties and lasting relationships. Milwood Little League has consistently shown it can compete at a high level, and with many players already on travel teams, Milwood was uniquely positioned to form its own, keeping homegrown talent together and extending the Milwood experience beyond the neighborhood.
Following a successful 2025-2026 season, the Royals are expanding for 2026/2027 with two 15U teams plus 14U, 13U and 10U teams. Our program offers:
- 6-8 USSSA, Exposure and Game Day USA tournaments within 150 miles, including one with college scouts in attendance
- Milwood Little League regular-season play, with a path to the Little League World Series tournament
- Indoor facility training on Saturdays during the winter months
- Qualified coaches, plus private 1-on-1 instruction from former minor league and college players
Milwood Travel is about player development, opportunity, and community, with a high-quality experience that's accessible and focused on what matters most: our athletes.
